PROJECTS

Pointe Engineering has been operational throughout NSW since 2016.

Some of our key projects include:

MINE SUBSIDENCE REMEDIATION

Pointe has engaged with mining companies to provide effective remediation strategies for subsidence impacted water courses.  Pointe has provided difficult access rigs and grouting equipment to successfully remediate multiple sites.

HIGH WALL STABILISATION

Pointe mobilised with short notice and stabilised a failing quarry high wall. Pointe worked under tough conditions to install self drilling anchors and place rock fall mesh.

slope access drilling

CLAREVILLE SLOPE STABILISATION

Pointe stabilised the western end of Clareville beach. Pointe drilled and installed rock bolts, laid slope retaining mesh and constructed a stainless steel reinforced concrete retaining wall.

ROPES ACCESS CORING

Pointe has undertaken numerous difficult access geotechnical drilling operations.  Recently Pointe accessed a drill site on ropes for TfNSW project to assess the stability of an embankment. As Pointe was able to place the drill beyond the slip the client was able to gain valuable information of the slip plane.

SNOWY 2.0

Snowy 2.0 is a major pumped-hydro expansion of the existing Snowy Scheme. Pointe was engaged to assist in scoping and manage geotechnical investigations. Pointe was subsequently engaged to plan and oversee grout injection trials.
