FEATURED PROJECTS

  • Two construction workers in safety gear working on a slope, securing a wire mesh for erosion control or slope stabilization in a forested area.

    PORT MACQUARIE

    Slope Stabilisation & Ground Remediation

Pointe was engaged to stabilise 19 active slip sites across Port Macquarie, NSW. Our team delivered large-scale slope remediation works, including extensive drilling, soil nailing, grouting, and meshing. These treatments restored slope stability and significantly reduced future geotechnical risk; safeguarding public infrastructure, roads, and nearby communities from recurring flood damage.

  • A drilling rig set up in an open grassy field with a clear blue sky and some clouds. There are safety barriers and equipment around the rig, with hills in the background.

    SNOWY 2.0

    Geotechnical Investigation & Grouting Trials

Snowy 2.0 is a major pumped-hydro expansion of the existing Snowy Scheme. Pointe was engaged to support the expansion through strategic geotechnical investigation management. We scoped, planned, and oversaw grout injection trials critical to the project’s long-term stability and performance.

  • BOOTAWA DAM

    Instrumentation & Dam Safety Monitoring

Pointe was engaged to enhance dam safety instrumentation at Bootawa Dam near Taree, NSW. Our team executed sonic drilling, core sampling, and the precision installation of vibrating wire piezometers—providing critical real-time insights into embankment performance and long-term water asset monitoring.

  • A worker in a safety helmet and face mask operating equipment on a slope near a body of water with boats and trees in the background.

    CLAREVILLE BEACH

    Slope Stabilisation

To protect public access and environmental integrity at Clareville Beach, Pointe delivered a full-scope slope stabilisation solution. Our works included precision drilling, installation of rock bolts, slope retention mesh, and the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall designed for coastal resilience.

  • A worker in orange safety gear and a large orange hat sits outdoors on a cooler, writing on a metallic survey ruler. There are various surveying equipment and tools on the ground, with a background of green trees and mountain scenery under a clear blue sky.

    ROPES ACCESS CORING

    Difficult Access Geotechnical Drilling

Pointe has undertaken numerous difficult access geotechnical drilling operations. Pointe was engaged by TfNSW to access a drill site on ropes & assess the stability of an embankment. Pointe deployed rope-access drilling beyond a landslip, enabling the client to capture accurate subsurface data directly from the slip plane, providing invaluable insights for long-term slope stability planning.

  • Construction workers on a small scaffolding structure beside a creek in a wooded area.

    MINE SUBSIDENCE REMEDIATION

    Grouting & Remediation

Pointe has engaged with leading mining companies to address critical mine subsidence issues affecting natural watercourses. Using custom-engineered, difficult-access drill rigs and high-capacity grouting equipment, we’ve delivered tailored remediation strategies across multiple sites. Our solutions restored structural integrity and environmental safety, often in remote or constrained locations.
